What’s the change you want to see?

The iMPACT Institute starts with the change you want—not the problem.

To assist people in achieving their goals, we provide a variety of tools plus a worldwide network of consultants, facilitators, and speakers. We craft every solution to fit the culture and needs of your specific group, delivering just-in-time experiential learning that makes a difference.

How does The iMPACT Institute create a solution?

Steps to the Impact Model:

  1. Individual and Team Assessment
  2. Consultation with Stakeholders; Focus groups to gather info
  3. Creation and Design of custom solutions
  4. Delivery of Solution
  5. Evaluation of Solution; Report on Return on Investment (ROI)
  6. Individual and/or Team Coaching

How have organizations benefited from the Impact Model?

At a National Operations Center . . .
The iMPACT Institute contracted with the National Operations Center for the leading provider of managed voice and data networking solutions to business. The company wanted one consistent message delivered to its customers. For Phase 1, The iMPACT Institute assessed individuals, interviewed key stakeholders, and created a 6-hour trainer led solution that was delivered to every employee and supervisor in the National Operations Center.

Months after the training, supervisors said:

“Our employees have been so focused on technical skills that many did not have customer service skills, so we need much more of this to build the type of customer service we want.”

“I can see a heightened awareness, and I take opportunities to discuss class information with my team to support what they learned.”

“The course offered a great deal and people learned a lot.”

And the participants said:

“I received a lot of good information that I use in performing my daily job duties and in my personal life.”

“Best instructor I have ever had here!”

“The instructor deserves to be commended. A better job could not have been done.”

“It was probably the best training class I have ever attended.”

At a National Telecomm Company . . .
A 125 year old company, a global leader in local, long distance, internet and transaction based voice and data services was facing redistribution of teams in a union environment where tensions were high. The iMPACT Institute created a special program to help people deal with uncertainty. An experiential workshop gave people coping tools and skills to make decisions for the next steps in their lives.

“I think the class is on the mark. It addresses the objectives we all discussed. You are creating value at a time when it is desperately needed.”
—SB, District Manager

At Strategic Air Command, United States Airforce. . .
The iMPACT Institute led officers and staff through a custom facilitation and simulation. Participants left with new skills on how to coach and debrief their superiors and fellow military and civilian personnel on sensitive diversity issues.

At a Large Statewide Credit Union . . .
A large statewide credit union had an incident involving understanding across ethnic and gender lines.  The iMPACT Institute assessed, consulted, created and delivered a Diversity initiative.

The participants said:

“I learned things about myself that I didn’t know.”

“It really opened my eyes, especially the Diversity profile.”

“It opened my mind,; I might need to adjust my attitude.”

The director of training said this:

“The subject matter is difficult and can be controversial, yet this program was successful in getting our employees to think about Diversity. Thanks for your expertise!”

At a Financial Services Firm . . .
A financial services firm scheduled their National Sales Conference in Denver and wanted to inspire their Account Executives to move their business to new heights and grow personally in the process. The iMPACT Institute interviewed eight Account Executives from different sides of the business, created custom video vignettes depicting scenes specific to this population, hired a graphic recorder to capture the keynote live and delivered the product.

The president of the company said this:

“We’d like to thank you for your efforts in making our National Sales Conference absolutely outstanding. Your presence and support are immeasurable to us. Your participation was instrumental to the success of this year’s meeting. We’re glad you reminded them that not all clients are alike, and that they must be creative and open to new ways of conducting their business to be successful with a client. Having your knowledge available at this year’s conference was invaluable. Thanks also for providing the graphic recorder. Having your message shown in visual format also helped get the message across to the attendees. Everyone was very impressed by the end result, and we are proud to have it displayed in our training room!”

The participants said:

“I enjoyed hearing and seeing your humorous and captivating presentation. The technology was incredible. You really have a winner there! You are a good listener and you are a good observer of your audience and life.”

“This was an excellent use of company resources to improve the company exponentially. She was excellent as an instructor, coach and motivator. She allowed the class to expand beyond the confines of the curriculum, while still being able to relate and bring the class in-line. Thanks!”

“I received in 6 hours more information about myself, my co-workers and my customers than I have in the many years of personal searching, reading books and therapy. It was truly an incredible experience!”

“This training was right on target! The instructor was outstanding!”

“Today our board for which I serve as president had the good fortune of having Christie Ward present a workshop on Public Speaking and other wonderful life long tools. We found Christie to be a fabulous presenter and a lovely woman with a lot of experience under her belt. She held our attention very well and left us with so many wonderful ideas, suggestions and tangible goals. I found the women in the room to be so appreciative that we had hired such a qualified facilitator. Our women actually left today with a very strong foundation and asking Christie to come back at another time to continue the learning process. Anyone that hires Christie is in for a real treat.”
